The Snead Bridge
Recently Constructed by ALDOT

This bridge on SR-75, one mile southwest of Snead Crossroads in Blount County, was recently completed by ALDOT. It replaced the last concrete open spandrel arch bridge in Alabama, except for the Mentone and Whatley bridges on SR-117 in DeKalb County and an abandoned bridge in Marion County. The new bridges to be built soon on SR-117 are expected to be identical to this bridge.
